London – Day Three

After our first two days of a packed schedule, we needed day three. πŸ˜‰ Mom, Cayce and Anna left early and went to Warner Brothers to do the Harry Potter experience, leaving me, Eisley, Dad and Nama at the house.

This was my girl when my alarm went off. She woke up briefly in the night, but went right back to sleep and then slept in for another hour or so after I got up. SO THANKFUL. Sweet girl, she was back to my cheerful Eisley girl after finally getting a good night’s sleep!!

We let her wake up slowly, have a nice breakfast and then we took a walk. The River Thames was just a short distance away and I let her walk most of it instead of being in the carrier. She LOVED the boats!

I just love my Nama.

Me and my best girl! See the Tower Bridge in the background?

Kaitlin, Eitan and Asaf caught up with us for a little bit!

Asaf and Eisley were cracking up at the fish on top of the building. I’m not even sure what that building is, but it was really fun to see such old, old architecture right next to something so new and modern.

After lunch, Kaitlin and her family headed out and we did a little more walking around the Tower Bridge area. Love this one of me and Nama!

I love my dad.

The Tower Bridge is seriously one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen! And the day was GORGEOUS. Perfect weather!

Since we didn’t have any major plans that day, we went back to the house and Eisley got to take a nap in a real bed. πŸ˜‰ She napped for a couple of hours and then woke up SO happy and excited. So thankful!

We went into Nama’s room for a minute on our way back out the door after nap and I was laughing so hard at this. Nama has this little alarm clock that says what the time is in a weird, computer-y voice. Eisley was cracking up. It was SO cute.

Off we go!! One of my absolute favorite things about this trip was that Eisley got to spend some amazing quality time with Nama. We had a few more hours before the others were back, so we headed out to Piccadilly Circus.

Piccadilly Circus is like the cleaner, older Times Square. πŸ˜‰ It was SO pretty. It was also SO crowded. We walked around for a few minutes and then found this little patio off away from the crowds.

Oh my goodness. It was magical. There were twinkle lights everywhere – in all the trees and even in the ground! Eisley LOVED it – she just ran along the lights, laughing and dancing. It was so beautiful and peaceful, which was crazy since it was literally steps away from the chaos.

We stopped by the little grocery store on our way back to the house and picked up some sticky toffee pudding and ice cream, because when in Rome… πŸ˜‰ Guys, it was GOOD. Mom, Cayce and Anna got home with tons of Harry Potter souvenirs and giant smiles and it sounded like their day was equally as amazing as ours!

And then, Day Three was a wrap!!
