Halloween 2017

The nights are colder, the days are shorter, must be time for Halloween. 😉

Aunt Cayce’s birthday is right before Halloween, so we celebrated her with a Harry Potter themed day! Love my sister so much.

Carving up their pumpkins from the patch. They kept telling me how gross they were.

Halloween!! The boys had picked out their costumes with Nonnie when she was in town and I think they are all so adorable. And of course Eisley was Minnie!

We met up with Gabriel and Sammy at one of the churches in town for their Fall Festival. They were all SO cute. I didn’t get a picture of Sammy!

My heart. Goodness, this boy.

Back home to warm up and eat some candy.

He’s never allowed to draw on fake facial hair again – he looks WAY too old. It killed me all night.

Such a fun Halloween!!

Pumpkin Patch 2017

How is it already pumpkin patch time?? I feel like fall gets here faster every single year. I have a picture from 2016 at the patch framed on my kitchen counter and I could not believe how much the kids had grown in one short year. Time goes too fast.

We’ve been going to this exact same pumpkin patch since Nathan was three months old, so of course, we had to go back this year. Eisley was not into smiling quite yet. 😉

We were looking at these pictures afterward and just laughing. Our days of getting all of us to smile and look at the camera at the same time are over. Ha!

Now we are happy!! Love this of my babies!

He is so old, it’s killing me.

Ditto – I feel like the last few traces of babyhood are gone with this one now. Insert the mom tears.

She just loves life.

Jon got them a little thing of feed and the kids all fed the farm animals. They thought it was hilarious.

Three little pumpkin heads!

Picked her pumpkin out and it was time to go home. 😉

We stopped by Firehouse Subs on our way home for dinner. Parker was too interested in a football game to smile for me. 😉

Someone perked up a bit after dinner. Sweet girl!

Parker asked me to carry his hat, so I put it on and Eisley could not stop laughing. It was so cute!!

Jet lag is no joke

All my life, I’ve heard people talking about jet lag and how hard it was and honestly, I probably didn’t have the sympathy that I should have had for them. Because jet lag is awful. And now I know. It was a good ten days before I really felt back to normal.

Nama came back to Albuquerque with us! A few days after we got back was Mom’s birthday and Nama’s is the next day, so we did a little birthday dinner for the two of them.

Sweet little pumpkin. She had a couple of days of being a little big grouchier than normal, but then she was back to my smiling, fiesty girl. She did so well!

Kaitlin came back to Albuquerque too – though for very sad reasons. Her brother passed away right before London, so Kaitlin and Asaf came for the funeral and then stayed for a little while. So thankful that in the midst of the sadness, we still got lots of visiting time, because London was SO jam-packed that I felt like we hardly got to talk. And Asaf is right smack in the middle of the boys, so they had the best time playing together!

“Helping” me make cookies. I always want to be that cool mom on Instagram whose kids help her in the kitchen, but people – I can’t do it. I can stand it for about two minutes and then there’s flour everywhere and extra ingredients are being added and I start hyperventilating. One kid can help me and it’s a really sweet time together and I love it. Three kids start helping and it’s like trying to cook with a bunch of squirrels running loose in the kitchen. 😉

Eisley woke up sick the next day, coughing, super congested and running a fever. Jon called to tell me he was on his way home from work and she took the phone and said, “Hi Daddy. I sick. Need donuts.” So guess what Jon showed up with a few minutes later. 😉

The boys. Sometimes, they make each other (and me in the process) absolutely nuts and then sometimes, they are so genuinely kind and sweet to each other that it just melts my heart. Even with all their squabbles, they truly adore each other and I love seeing the bond between them.

Now that we’re all recovered from jet lag, it’s time to fit all the fall fun into the last week of October. Ha!

London – Day Six and Seven

The next two days were cold and rainy, off and on. I didn’t take quite as many pictures because of it, so I figured I’d just smush the days together on here. 😉

I’m not nearly as talented as one-handed group shots as Jon is. But here we all are on a river boat tour down the River Thames!

It was FREEZING and drizzling the whole time, so I kept my phone in my bag for the most part. I also froze to death but I figured it was more important for Eisley to stay warm and dry.

After the boat tour, we did a little walking. Big Ben was under construction (so sad), but Westminster Abbey was just beautiful!

Walking around while Eisley napped by Buckingham Palace.

The pictures really don’t do the grounds of Buckingham justice. It was so incredibly beautiful. Like it’s own little world inside London. Mom and Nama went to Wimbledon, Dad and Cayce were touring a guard museum and Anna and I just wandered around the grounds while Eisley napped. Such sweet time with her.

Someone woke up so excited to run and play on the grass. And I’m pretty sure we picked up every single leaf in London.

I would spend every weekend on the Buckingham grounds if I lived in London.

Me and my girl checking out the Palace one last time.

The last day in London, we went to Kensington Palace and the British Museum. I have no idea why I have basically no pictures of either of those. So sad – Kensington is beautiful!

We had to wrap up our time in London though the best way we could – Abbey Road! Everyone was such a good sport about my goal to do this four generations picture. Ha! I love how it turned out!!

And then, it was time to head home. We packed up our bags and left the next morning for the airport and our LONG flights home. And – SO thankful – we basically had an empty plane coming back!! Eisley and I had our own row!

She did SO good! I was so proud of how well she did on the flight.

She didn’t fuss at all the entire time. We did watch about six straight hours of Mickey and the Roadster Racers, but you know what, I would take that over screaming. 😉

We even made a tent out of the airplane blankets. Ha!

I let her sleep during our layover in New York, hoping that she would be awake then for the flight home so we could both get home and go straight to bed, since we landed a few minutes before midnight. It sort of worked – she stayed awake, but that just meant I was awake for about 35 hours in a row. It took me about a week to recover!

Back home with our crazy boys who we missed SO much!!! We brought them guard hats and they loved them. Nathan told me that he’d never seen me smile as big as when I came through the doors and saw them waiting for us at the airport. 🙂 We had the BEST time in London but, oh, how I missed my boys!!!

It was definitely the trip of a lifetime and I will never forget it. So thankful that we had the opportunity to go! So thankful we have a home to come back to always.

London – Day Five

Good morning! Such a lovely view first thing in the morning on our way to our tour.

On our fifth day in London, we walked over to the London Tower. Before this trip, I knew basically zilch about the London Tower but it was SO interesting!

This is the entrance. A bit foreboding. 😉

It’s less foreboding with a baby and coffee.

The Tower has basically been everything. A prison, a torture chamber, a zoo and now, the place where they keep the Crown Jewels and a tourist spot. Seriously, it’s beautiful and terrifying all at the same time.

Someone wasn’t super excited about the jewels. She thought the first crown was pretty but then all the opulence was just redundant for my Little Miss. 😉 They don’t allow photography of the jewels, but holy cow, they were incredible.

Just so amazing.

We got there REALLY early, so there was basically no one there for a while. It was so nice. Eisley could run around a little bit, we got to talk to some of the people who work there and really explore the whole Tower without feeling rushed. They have these zoo animals made out of chicken wire all over the Tower that were apparently given as a gift to London at some point…kind of a weird gift. If anyone in my family is reading this looking for gift ideas for me, I don’t want chicken wire zoo animals. 😉 Eisley thought they were so funny.

In one of the huge towers of the Tower, they had displays of a lot of the knights and armory used by England in the past. Eisley kept saying, “Oooo. Scary horse. Oooo. Scary man.”

I mean, they were a little terrifying.

Taking a break after we climbed like 4,298 of the steepest, shortest steps ever. This room was really neat. Not only was there more armory, but there was information about all the different histories of the Tower. This particular area had been primarily used as a prison and torture chamber. And for some reason, they had a music box thing on display and Eisley would turn the handle and then start twirling around.

Watching my tiny, beautiful girl twirling around in a tower that had held so much pain and agony for so many people was a really eerie, sobering moment for me.

Eisley found another guard. 😉 She LOVED the guards. This is all she talked about the whole entire time. “Gward? Mawch?” And then she would march around just like them.

Lots of walking and we were lots of tired by this point. 😉 Notice Pops hasn’t been in any pictures – that’s because my dad heard two words of the history of the Tower and he basically disappeared for the entire morning reading every single plaque and sign and wall in the whole building.

From the top of one of the Tower walls.

We finally found Pops! Love this of the two of them.

We finally dragged Dad away from the Tower and found a little place along the River Thames to eat. This picture melts my heart.

The theme of the day was “tower” because after touring the Tower of London, we ate lunch and Eisley fell asleep in the Ergo while we walked over to the Tower Bridge to do the tour there. The Tower Bridge is incredible – such a HUGE architectural feat! You can walk across the walkways and someone apparently had the grand idea to put a see-through floor up there.

Why. Just why. I was making a beeline around the floor because not only did I have Eisley in the pack which already was throwing off my center of gravity, but I’m terribly afraid of heights. Then I saw they were giving out “I DID IT” stickers to the people who were walking across the glass and I really like stickers, so I just did it. 😉

My dad, ladies and gentlemen. He plopped right down there without a second thought. They have giant mirrors on the ceiling so you can see yourself basically sprawled out over London.

I am not entirely sure that I’m related to these people after all. Eisley had woken up by now and since they were both brave enough to do it, I took a deep breath and laid down.

Well, at least I earned my sticker. 😉 Not only am I scared of heights but I have major germ issues too, so laying on the floor might be the bravest thing I could have ever done. This was just a new level for me all around.

Might as well get a group shot while we’re on the floor. Ha!

This one may not be related to me either. She was just like, “Oh, wook! Big boat. Oh, wook! Wittle car.” Zero fear. Zero concern. I cannot relate to her at all.

Then we were all hungry and tired of walking (and honestly, I was really ready to wash my hair after laying on the floor), so we stopped by the little grocery store again, got ourselves dinner and actually made it to bed at a halfway decent time. 😉

London – Day Four

This was probably the first day that I woke up and felt like I’d actually slept the night before! We started our day early and headed over to Buckingham Palace to watch the Changing of the Guard.

Me and my beautiful sister. We had to stop for coffee on the way! (Also, y’all will probably notice that I’m wearing the same clothes a lot. One of the perks of the house was the washer/dryer, so I seriously only brought three outfits each for me and Eisley and I just washed every other day. It was awesome.)

Getting closer to the Palace!

Right outside the gates. Needless to say, we were not the only people at Buckingham that morning – there were THOUSANDS of people there. I wasn’t nervous hardly at all walking around London, but I was really on edge at the Changing of the Guard. There were just SO many people and they were all crowding in really close and I was trying to keep a hand on Eisley and my backpack and it was just crazy. I was definitely the most nervous on this morning.

The crowds got to all of us, so we opted to move across the street. I was way more relaxed after we did that.

Someone was bored out of her mind just sitting there waiting for the guards to come, so we had to dig into our emergency stash of M&Ms. 😉

They finally came marching through the gates and we saw the guards!

Okay. If you are planning a trip for London, I would not necessarily recommend the Changing of the Guard. When all was said and done, unless you were one of the maybe fifty people right on the gates, you couldn’t see anything. So, we sort of felt like we’d stood there all morning to watch the guards walk down the street and back. Just my two cents. 😉

After the Guards, we went to the Royal Mews to check out the Queen’s horses and carriages. It was really neat! The horses are GORGEOUS and Eisley could have watched them forever. They had all the carriages from the past and it was just amazing to see the opulence and how they changed through the years. They even had a little kid area where the kids could color and sit on tiny chairs, which Eisley fell right off of and whacked her head on the floor. Poor baby girl. A huge goose egg immediately popped up and we found security to ask for an ice pack.

The people at the Royal Mews were just incredibly sweet. They got me two packs, gave Eisley an audio tour thing to distract her and then when that stopped working, they also sent me and her back to the horses and she got to watch them eat and see them do a few different tricks and I had people coming up asking me how she was doing about every ten minutes for the rest of the time we were there. She had basically stopped crying about two minutes after it happened, so she was fine, but it was just very kind of them to be so concerned.

London is just lovely.

We spent a little more time walking around the Palace area and then went to the Churchill War Rooms. SO interesting, but by that time, Eisley was pretty much all done being touristy. 😉 Time for dinner and bed!

London – Day Three

After our first two days of a packed schedule, we needed day three. 😉 Mom, Cayce and Anna left early and went to Warner Brothers to do the Harry Potter experience, leaving me, Eisley, Dad and Nama at the house.

This was my girl when my alarm went off. She woke up briefly in the night, but went right back to sleep and then slept in for another hour or so after I got up. SO THANKFUL. Sweet girl, she was back to my cheerful Eisley girl after finally getting a good night’s sleep!!

We let her wake up slowly, have a nice breakfast and then we took a walk. The River Thames was just a short distance away and I let her walk most of it instead of being in the carrier. She LOVED the boats!

I just love my Nama.

Looking at the boats with Pops and Nama.

Me and my best girl! See the Tower Bridge in the background?

Kaitlin, Eitan and Asaf caught up with us for a little bit!

Asaf and Eisley were cracking up at the fish on top of the building. I’m not even sure what that building is, but it was really fun to see such old, old architecture right next to something so new and modern.

After lunch, Kaitlin and her family headed out and we did a little more walking around the Tower Bridge area. Love this one of me and Nama!

I love my dad.

The Tower Bridge is seriously one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen! And the day was GORGEOUS. Perfect weather!

Since we didn’t have any major plans that day, we went back to the house and Eisley got to take a nap in a real bed. 😉 She napped for a couple of hours and then woke up SO happy and excited. So thankful!

We went into Nama’s room for a minute on our way back out the door after nap and I was laughing so hard at this. Nama has this little alarm clock that says what the time is in a weird, computer-y voice. Eisley was cracking up. It was SO cute.

Off we go!! One of my absolute favorite things about this trip was that Eisley got to spend some amazing quality time with Nama. We had a few more hours before the others were back, so we headed out to Piccadilly Circus.

Piccadilly Circus is like the cleaner, older Times Square. 😉 It was SO pretty. It was also SO crowded. We walked around for a few minutes and then found this little patio off away from the crowds.

Oh my goodness. It was magical. There were twinkle lights everywhere – in all the trees and even in the ground! Eisley LOVED it – she just ran along the lights, laughing and dancing. It was so beautiful and peaceful, which was crazy since it was literally steps away from the chaos.

We stopped by the little grocery store on our way back to the house and picked up some sticky toffee pudding and ice cream, because when in Rome… 😉 Guys, it was GOOD. Mom, Cayce and Anna got home with tons of Harry Potter souvenirs and giant smiles and it sounded like their day was equally as amazing as ours!

And then, Day Three was a wrap!!

London – Day Two

Even though it was only our second day in London, it was our fourth night without sleeping, thanks to early flights the first couple of days getting there and jet lag. We were all exhausted. Still, we got ourselves up and going early again because we had train tickets out of Paddington Station to go to Bath.

Of all the days, I was most excited for this day! First, because the kids are crazy about Paddington and I’d heard there was a little memorial to him there. Second, because Bath has the Jane Austen Center!

We found “Paddy Bear”! Eisley LOVED him. After basically zero sleep, I was really ready for some coffee, so we found a Starbucks at the station. Side note, but in England, they don’t have half and half. Isn’t that interesting? I was asking for some cream at the counter and when I turned back around, my dear, dear friend Kaitlin was standing there!!Pretty sure I immediately burst into tears. I guess she had already planned a family trip to London for the same exact dates we were going – isn’t that amazing?? I was SO excited to see her!!Paddington was kind enough to entertain the kids while we waited for our train. 😉The train ride was a lot shorter with Kaitlin, Eitan and Asaf there to visit with. 😉 We got to Bath and it basically drizzled rain on and off the whole time we were there. Pops carried Eisley for a bit. She was in a major Mom-Only mood for most of the trip, so my shoulders were feeling it by the end of the days!!Tiny girl by the giant cathedral doors in Bath. There wasn’t a lot to do in Bath, so we ate lunch and then wandered through the cathedral before heading over to the Jane Austen Center (which, honestly, was the only reason I wanted to go to Bath).Kaitlin is also a HUGE Jane fan!! Note how Eisley is finally asleep? I was timing everything so I could do the museum tour as she was napping. She definitely woke up the SECOND the tour started. She took maybe a twenty minute nap. Oy.

At the end of the tour, you could go through a few different rooms this one had replicas of Jane’s desk where she likely wrote her novels and you could try writing with a quill and ink just like Jane. We had to give it a try! It made me very thankful for my laptop. 😉

Just hanging out with Jane in Bath. No biggie. 😉

Kaitlin and her family had headed back after lunch. We decided to tour the Roman Baths (thus the name of the city) before we left. Not going to lie, we were all VERY tired. Eisley was working on two hours of sleep the night before and a twenty minute nap, when she usually is a twelve to thirteen hours at night and a two hour nap kid. So, morale was plummeting pretty fast.

These are the baths. And yes, the water is really that green. Blegh. Kids, this is why we scrub the bath tub every week.

We started out happy enough. But the audio tour only held a certain small person’s interest for about .008 seconds (or pretty much as long as it took me to take this picture). But she did look awful cute carrying around the radio and her Pride and Prejudice board book that I got her at the Jane Center.

At this point in the tour of the baths, we had lost both the radio and the other people in our family. So, I walked around with her and we posed really fast by the water. Which is when she started yelling, “Ei-ey jump? Ei-ey jump in water bottle?” So, rather than have my daughter jump into the neon green water and turn into some sort of radioactive hulk, I immediately put her into the Ergo.

This went over very well, as you can see. I was so tired that almost everything was starting to be funny. So I fed her pieces of dried mango in between her complaints and we tried to find the non-existent place that would disturb the least number of other tourists while we waited for everyone else to finish their tour, because sound carries VERY well all through the bath houses. 😉

It started pouring rain right when we left the baths, so we found a restaurant, Eisley got more ice cream and we ate our pizza and then ran for the train. And Eisley screamed – screamed – at the top of her lungs the ENTIRE two-hour trip home. I have never seen her so absolutely done with everything and everyone. At one point, I just took her into the little section between the two train cars and we just stood there and she screamed but at least she wasn’t making everyone else crazy on the train.

She fell asleep on the tube from Paddington Station to the house station and she was so tired and so asleep that I changed her diaper, got her into her pajamas and into bed without her ever waking up. We were TI-YERD, like Parker would say. But she actually slept almost the entire night and we both finally got a great night’s sleep. Praise God. We needed it!! Bless her heart – this was really the only day that she had a hard time. All in all, considering how little sleep she had and how crazy the day was, she did really well!

London – Day One

We were finally in London!! We got there about 8pm London time, but back home it was 2pm. Still, after our incredibly long day, we were all really ready for a shower and a bed. 😉

Jet lag is so weird. I finally laid down at midnight, exhausted after getting us semi-unpacked and organized and was wide awake the moment I got into bed. Eisley had already gone to sleep and she woke up about ten minutes after I laid down, so I just pulled her in bed with me. Of all the memories I have of London, this is one of the ones I want to hold on to! She and I just snuggled and talked and she sang to me and I sang to her and it was just the sweetest time with my girl. She finally fell asleep all snuggled up with me about three hours before our alarm was set to go off, but it was still just so precious.

Our first day, we had train tickets to go to Windsor Castle. We rented an Air BnB and it was about a three minute walk to the tube (aka subway).

Here we are outside our house!! It was a renovated firehouse! So fun! Notice Eisley is like, “What in the heck are we doing. It is the middle of the night.” 😉 We took the tube to the Waterloo train station. Waterloo is a huge station, there’s tons of shops and places to eat at it and people are EVERYWHERE.

Mama and Eisley were both VERY tired at the train station. We got there pretty early, so we just walked up and down the escalators a million times trying to stay awake so Eisley could sleep on the train to Windsor Castle.

Obviously, the plan worked wonderfully. 😉 Someone did not want to sleep, she wanted to play on the hour-ish train ride through some super beautiful countryside. When we reached Windsor, we had about a ten minute walk to the castle.

Oh my goodness, guys – Windsor Castle and the whole little town is GORGEOUS. It was a beautiful, incredibly humid day and all the stone and rock walks and the castle… of all the places we went, Windsor Castle was one of my top favorites.

See what I mean? It was just incredibly beautiful. Eisley and I just walked around the wall overlooking the garden for forever and every time I started to move away from it, she started yelling, “No! Pretty garden!” 😉

Me and my best girl. 😉 Between her and all the diapers, snacks, extra clothes and everything else I had shoved in my backpack, I’m pretty sure I carried about 40 pounds through London.

The humidity did fantastic things to my baby girl’s hair.

The guards!! Oh my goodness, this was Eisley’s favorite part of the whole entire trip. We searched for guards everywhere after Windsor. They aren’t allowed to make any movements or react in any way, but when a certain tiny girl stood in front of this guard after this picture and said, “Tank you, gwaud,” he definitely cracked a smile and nodded slightly at her. Eisley then marched like a guard the whole way back to the town. 😉

People. England does not mess around with fish and chips.

After lunch, we walked around the little town of Windsor for a little bit. Such a beautiful little town! By this point, we were all starting to drag a bit, seeing as how we’d now been up the entire night Albuquerque time. 😉

We found coffee!! And a fake guard! Ha! Eisley was just about asleep at this point in the Ergo. When planning the trip, I read HUNDREDS of articles and blogs about how to do London with a baby (because I never over-plan or over-research…. 😉 ), and the overwhelming theme seemed to be, if your child is small enough to wear in a baby carrier, wear them. Don’t bring a stroller. SO thankful I listened – the cobblestone paths were so cute and quaint, but it would have been awful to do a stroller on them. Plus, I would say only about 20% of the subways actually had elevators. We climbed thousands of stairs over the week and a half. It was perfect to just stick her in the pack and go.

Baby asleep, coffee in hand. Mama is happy. 😉

Just outside the coffee shop, there was this little cafe – and we all were so excited and sad. My grandpa’s name was Bill. So, of course Nama had to get a picture with the sign. Love this picture.

Then, we tiredly dragged ourselves back to the house for another night of jet lag and no sleep. 😉 And our first real day in London was over!

And we’re off!

About three or four months ago, we were at my parents’ house and my mom told me that they were thinking about going to London in October. My grandparents had always wanted to go to London and my grandfather got Alzheimers before they were ever able to go. Nama still wanted to go and my parents and sister were going there with her. Mom asked if I wanted to go and I was like, “Of course!”, but knew there was NO possible way I could actually leave for that long.

I mentioned it off-handedly to Jon and he immediately picked up the phone and called his mom, who said of course she could come watch the boys and the dates they were going even were over Jon’s fall break, so she would only need to watch them for three days by herself. Eisley was still basically free to take with me and was too little for me to feel comfortable leaving her that long, so I tried not to throw up and booked Eisley and me a ticket to London in October, because it was light years away and would never actually get here.

Then, about four minutes later, it was here and I was a sobbing mess to leave that long and to be that far away. 😉 I have always struggled with worry, but this trip took that to a new high. And yet, because of this trip, I was reminded that God is the one who is in control. Not me.

So, early, early in the morning after some very tearful goodbyes the night before, I woke up my baby girl, quietly got her dressed, snuck into the boys’ room to give them one more kiss each while they were still asleep, gave Nonnie a big hug and then Jon drove us to the airport.

Five o’clock in the morning and we had to use a filter because my eyes were so red from crying. 😉 At this point, I was half expecting myself to walk up to the gate, start shaking my head and just turn around and go back home.

Somehow, I stepped on the plane and we took off! We got the whole row to ourselves and Eisley spent most of the flight playing with the wrapper from the fruit snacks I gave her. 😉 SO glad I carted all those books and toys along with me. Ha!

Before I left, I went and got the boys each ten little presents, wrapped them and numbered them for each day I was gone. So every day, they each got to open one little gift. I got these pictures when we landed in Dallas for our layover – yay for smiles!!

Little Miss slept most of the flight from Dallas to New York City. My cousin got married the weekend before this trip, so all of us were just meeting in New York, spending the night there and then catching a VERY early flight to London the next day. So, it was just me and my girl for the entire first day, basically. We landed in New York, I got our bag and somehow made it to the Uber lines, found our Uber guy and he drove us to the Plaza where we were meeting up with everyone for dinner.

We made it!!! We were SO tired at this point and the trip had barely begun. Ha!

This was pretty much the entire reason we met at the Plaza – Nama had never been! Nama’s name is Eloise and Eisley’s name is a play off of that, so we had to get a picture of our two Eloises at the Plaza. Love this!!!

Dinner that night was interesting – Eisley started choking, it was a terrifying thing and somehow, I managed to grab the piece of pepperoni out of her throat. She started screaming/sobbing, I was sobbing, we caused quite the commotion in this tiny little Italian restaurant. Everyone was running over and our waiter was like, “I’ll be right back with ice cream!” So, Eisley got herself a free bowl of ice cream for the trauma. I don’t think I slept all night in the tiny hotel room because I could not stop praying for safety for her and my boys while I was gone.

So, basically no sleep later, the alarms went off in the middle of the night, we got dressed and went down for a fast breakfast and went back to the airport for our early flight to London. It was 1am Albuquerque time. Holy cow.

Eisley had no idea which way was up at this point, but she was so happy and cheerful to be walking around in the dark, basically empty airport. 😉 It’s fun being the only kid with all kinds of adults!

Ready for takeoff!! My hope was to keep Eisley up until we were in the air, but she passed out in the Ergo as we were getting ready to board. 😉 She did really well on the rest of the flight though!! We had such a fun group – Mom, Dad, me, Nama, Cayce’s dear friend Anna and Cayce. Here we go!
