Paige Turned contest!!

I really meant to have this up on Tuesday but I got a terrible case of mastitis. So I spent Paige Turned‘s
release day in bed with a 103 degree fever. πŸ™ Yuck! Thankfully,
antibiotics seem to have cleared it up and we are back to plug-free,
fever-free nursing.

So (in delayed news), guess what’s now available?? πŸ˜‰

I
think that is a great reason for a contest for an autographed copy! And since someone in my
house is VERY into all things super heroes right now, you can enter the
contest by leaving me a comment with either your favorite super hero or
maybe what “super power” you wish you had. πŸ˜‰ Nathan will love hearing
your answers!

a Rafflecopter giveaway

Also, I apologize that I have been so SO behind on this blog and
in replying to you guys on email, Facebook and Instagram. Please know I
LOVE reading all your messages! I’m so thankful for all your precious
prayers right now!!

  1. Sorry Nathan, but I was never into superheros, so I hardly even know what their names are! :-/ So, for my super-power? Maybe I would say I wish I could be able to let everyone know that God created them for a special purpose and that they aren't a mistake. Does that count? πŸ™‚

  2. Ever since I was a little girl, my favorite super hero has always been Superman from the original black&white TV show : ) As a mom of four…I wish I was Mary Poppins and if she doesn't count as a super hero, than I’d have to say Elastigirl : )

  3. My super power would be being able to freeze time, since it seems that there just is not enough of it in a day πŸ™‚ My superhero would be spiderman because I remember watching it as a child with my dad and sister before going to bed! Hope Nathan likes my choice! πŸ™‚

  4. I like Green Arrow because he's like a cross between Batman and Robin Hood. He's not born with any special powers. He makes the most of what he has. Also, I've always had a crush on Robin Hood. πŸ™‚ -Nicole G.

  5. I don't know a lot about superheroes – I've never had brothers; maybe that's it. Being invisible would be pretty cool, though. It would make eavesdropping a little easier, at least.
    I probably shouldn't admit that. πŸ˜‰

  6. I'm always torn between wanting to be able to fly or to be able to stretch like Elastigirl from the incredibles. πŸ™‚

  7. Hmmm… my favorite superheroes are Captain America and The Green Arrow. Neither of them are perfect people, but they're great characters with a lot of admirable traits. πŸ™‚

Can't wait to read Paige Turned! I've been dying to find out what'll happen since I finished Paige Rewritten!

  8. I love Captain America. He is the hero with a heart of gold. And he's a military guy like my Dad. Reading Paige Turned now on my kindle – loving it!

  9. Hi Erin/Nathan,

Well, I was never into superheroes and haven't even seen any of the movies:( So…I will go with what super power I would like (although I'm not even sure if this would be considered a super power, haha. Anyway, I would love to be able to time travel…not all the time, just a trip each month to anywhere and anytime I wanted to see:)

    1. Oops…I just realized I misspelled your name. I work with a girl named "Erin" so I am used to typing it that way:)

  10. I would love to be able to drink as much coffee as I wanted every day without having to worry about calories or too much caffeine πŸ˜‰ As my econ professor tells us "Coffee is life, and life is coffee". I couldn't agree more. Can't wait to read Paige Turned with a cup of coffee in hand! Lots of love to you and your little family πŸ™‚

  11. My favorite super hero is Captain America, mostly because of his personality. Though, I like all of them. πŸ™‚

  12. My power would be teleportation so I could travel the world and also be able to see family I never get to see. ,y favorite superhero is Spider-Man.

  13. My favorite superhero…. Batman! One of the movies was partially filmed in my town! I wish I could turn back time; it would be a fun power to have!

  14. my favorite superhero is Iron Man. He is my role model and as for a super power i wish i had stretchy arms and Erynn I'm sure you wish you did too so that helping Nathan would be easier πŸ™‚

  15. My super power would be the ability to fly – or be invisible. I've always wanted to be able to go invisible, but I don't really know why. Being able to fly would be really fun, too! Then I can fly wherever I want to go!

  16. My favourite superhero is Captain America because I love how he overcame challenges to become a hero who eventually saved many lives. If I had to choose a superhero power it would be to fly πŸ™‚ I can't wait to read Paige Turned! πŸ™‚

  17. When I was a child I always wished for my arms to be able to be the length I wanted them to. Mostly when I was in bed and needed something, though πŸ˜‰

  18. For the sake of sounding cheesy, Erynn Mangum. My father, who was my best friend, passed away a few years ago. My husband found your books (I had never heard of you before), bought me my first series, and took me away for the weekend so I could read and escape. Your books were the first thing that actually made me smile, and even laugh out loud. For that, I will always be thankful. Thank you!

  19. My favorite superhero is definitely Batman, I love the fact that Batman was created by Bruce wayne's fears and by how smart he is. Love your books and can't wait to read the new one!!

  20. My favorite superhero is Batman. My favorite cartoon superhero is Captain Caveman. He is, after all, the cutest creepy caveguy of all time.

  21. My favorite super hero is Captain America because he's more about doing what's right and serving his country than fame and fortune. As a group of superheroes, I'm all about the Avengers. πŸ™‚ Me personally, I wish I had the ability of teleportation. I love to travel, but simply lack the time and funds for long car, plane, and boat roads, so I'd love to just be able to go. I would also find some way to help people with my abilities, but I would take a well deserved vacation πŸ™‚

  22. I would like to be Superman. Not only is he cute (I am a sucker for a cutie in Glasses), but he gets to have more than one superpower! How awesome is that!?

  23. My favorite Superhero is Captain America. I'm going to see the new movie tonight in fact. πŸ™‚ My six year-old little bro has a Capt. America costume and wears it ALL.THE.TIME. It's pretty much the cutest thing ever. πŸ™‚

  24. I wish my super power could be to snap my fingers or wiggle my nose, like Samantha from Bewitched, and make things happen. – Rachel Tisdale

  25. My husband and I are BIG superhero fans. Mostly DC characters, but we love the Avengers as well. We love superheroes so much that I have even themed our kitchen in DC characters with their emblems painted on canvas on the wall, home made hot pads with superhero fabric, salt and pepper shakers that are Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, and Robin, Superman and Wonder Woman painted chairs that I did, as well as a few other things. But I think my favorite superhero for myself would be The Flash or Wonder Woman. My husband's is definitely Superman.

  26. My favorite super hero… Hmmm that's a toughy. I would probably have to say Superman because he was the first one I was introduced to. I think I was 8 or so when the first movie with Christopher Reeves came out. I really enjoyed the recent remake "Man of Steel" very much. πŸ™‚

  27. It's so hard to choose just one! I like The Fantastic Four. My favorite is The Thing because of his tender heart and back story. If I could have any super power it would be super speed like Flash! πŸ™‚ I'm praying for you and looking forward to reading Paige Turned.

  28. I don't reeeeeally have a favourite superhero, but if I had a power, I'd love to be able to fly!! πŸ™‚

  29. When I was little I loved Wonder Woman! I think because she was powerful and beautiful and NOT blonde! =) Now I gravitate more towards Captain America. My 2 year old is obsessed with all things Marvel!

  30. I hope you feel better! I heard that is no joke! πŸ™ When I was younger I use to wish that I was Sailor Moon or any of her friends (especially Sailor Mars)!

  31. I love Captain America and/or the Black Widow. But I can't pick between the two of them πŸ™‚

  32. I don't necessarily have a favorite superhero, but if I had a superpower, I would want to have the superpowers that Violet Parr had in The Incredibles. Violet was able to become invisible and have a force field. That seems pretty cool πŸ™‚

  33. I've always been too girly to be into super heroes . . . but if I could have a super power, I would want to bob my head like Jeannie and have a sparkly clean house . . . clean floors, shining shower, gleaming light fixtures . . . wouldn't that be the BEST? =) Andrea

  34. I don't know who my favorite superhero is, but I would love to be able to teleport, cause then you could teleport to the store…or a friends house, or wherever and save so much time πŸ™‚

  35. I would love the ability to clone myself. That way one of me can be working or doing homework and the other of me be relaxing. There are just not enough hours in a day to get everything done that needs to be done.

  36. I love all superheroes! But Batman is my favorite or maybe all The Avengers combined πŸ™‚
    -Emily West

  37. My boys love the Avengers… We actually love all of them, it just depends on which bad guy we have to fight at the time!!

  38. Does Zorro count as a superhero? πŸ™‚ I grew up watching the b&w series of zorro with Guy Williams . They are the BEST!
I'd like to be able to have great strength!
    -Rebecca P.

  39. My favorite is Batman. He doesn't have superpowers but really cool gadgets instead.
    Anna R

  40. I am a huge fan of your books, especially the Maya Davis Series! : )
And I love your writing style!
My favorite hero is Hermione Granger from the Harry Potter series.
She is brilliant, confident, and makes being smart way cool.
When it comes to the Avengers, my favorite is Iron Man, because he is a genius and pretty funny. He doesn’t have to rely on serums or powers, he uses his genius and that rocks! : )
And if I could have any super power, it would be the abilities of Elastagirl because I am small and would love to be able to reach things without needing a chair or step. : )
    -Chloe F.

  41. As a child, my favorite superhero was She-Ra, although I doubt Nathan would have any idea who she is! I also think it would be great to be able to teleport. Thanks for the giveaway, and congratulations on your sweet little baby!

  42. My favorite would have to be the Avengers, specifically Captain American and Iron Man! I love that they have superpowers yet really exemplify flawed humans as well. Gotta love those superheroes!!

  43. Now that the Avengers are out, I'm definitely into them. I just saw the new Captain America movie this weekend so probably he's my favorite right now, but I also really like the Black Widow because she can basically take down anybody.

  44. Tobey Maguire as Spider-Man. I don't hold with these newfangled actors playing him. πŸ™‚ Also gotta agree with everyone who says The Avengers! So basically, I'm a Marvel nutcase!

  45. My superpower would be the ability to be in two places at once; have a dozen hands; and read through osmosis. Being a mom is tough. I'd much rather be at home with my guy but he is with grandma, so he is in good hand. Plus I'd miss my library and the teens I work with.

ps. congrats on your new little man. He is gorgeous.
