Not a bad way to start off the month of August!!
It’s nearly back to school time around here and I’ve been thinking about all of you in school or soon to be heading off to college. Praying for an amazing year for all of you!! Got anything specific you need prayer for? Leave it in the comments – I know I (and lots of others!) would be happy to pray for you!

My husband is deploying (Navy) for 9 months next week and I'm 12 weeks along. We talked, exhaustively, about planning when to have another baby and how it would fit into his schedule…but God's in control! Prayers for his safety and my sanity, raising 3 little ones and bringing our 4th into this world alone would be greatly appreciated.
Oh my goodness, Drea! I can't imagine your situation but I know God knows every detail of it intimately. I will be praying for your husband and his safety, for you with your three little ones and for this precious baby on the way. Praying God gives you a huge burst of grace over these next nine months!!

This fall I will be going into my 3rd year of university for Elementary Education (I've always wanted to teach those little guys!! Love 'em.). But since it's my 3rd year, that means I'm going to start going into a school and actually teaching a little bit once a week.
This is exciting for me but has also made me nervous. I've been praying, but if you could as well, that God would remind me that He will equip me to do the actual teaching during this "field time" at the school. Also, that He would orchestrate who I get partnered with for the teaching portion… And also just generally, that I would be able to do all that I need to for my classes, with His help… I've had to keep reminding myself that He will never leave me! 🙂

Madison, I'll be praying for you as you start this new phase in your education/training! Seeing that you, a total stranger, prayed for me brought tears to my eyes. And no, it's not just the hormones! =) It always amazes me to see God working in my life. You'll never know how much seeing that little P.S. meant to me during this difficult week. Thank you!
Praying for you, Madison!! I remember when Jon did his student teaching and it's such a scary/exciting/overwhelming time! I will be praying that God partners you with the perfect person to calm your fears and that He gives you the energy and focus to be able to do your classes as well!!
