  1. My favorite Christmas gift would have to be the year my mom got my sister and I some of the Harry Potter books. I love those books!

  2. My favorite Christmas present was my American Girl Doll. I absolutely loved it and was so happy when I got to go to Chicago and have tea with my cousins and my American Girl Doll. Though, I think I may have a new favorite seeing that I'm getting a new Ralph Lauren purse this Christmas. We'll just have to wait and see!

  3. My husband decided one year to give me this very heavy medium box. I go to open it up to find a small box from Kay's (they were some gorgeous earrings!) and 2 big ziploc bags of sand. Hubby wanted to keep me guessing. ( I happen to be one of those people that like to feel my presents and guess! lol ) He knew if i saw a small box i would instantly know what it is right away. πŸ™‚

  4. My favorite Christmas gift was when my parents had my grandmothers ring resized so I could wear it to remember her by.

  5. All the gifts had been unwrapped, the proof covering the living room floor. My mom announced that there was one more gift but it would have to wait. The smile on her face as she looked down was telling. Twenty two Christmases ago, our entire family learned of the baby in her tummy. Little did we know, the unexpected- 'the unplanned one' has been our family's greatest gift. Thank you Erynn, for encouraging me to remember one of my life's most favorite moments. Love you.

  6. First of all, thanks for letting us know about Cool Beans being available for free! It's been a few years since I've read the series, so I am excited to pick it back up again. πŸ™‚

As for my favorite Christmas present, it would have to be from a few years ago when my parents surprised my brother and I with a European cruise. They made it like the TV show "The Amazing Race" and had these clues and different "challenges" that we had to complete to find out what our present was. When I eventually pulled the itinerary out of this white envelope, I literally broke down crying in front of my entire family! I was both shocked at the magnitude of the gift and excited for the vacation. It was one of the best trips that we've taken as a family, and the day that we found out is one Christmas that I will probably never forget! πŸ™‚

  7. My favorite gift was/is this year from my mom. I am putting my self through my undergrad degree, and I am short a lot of money. She offered to help me pay for the next semester. So, that is probably my favorite gift.

  8. my favorite Christmas gift would have to be a coffee mug that said "cool beans" on it… my family thought it was appropriate because of my obsession with your books. πŸ˜‰

  9. My favorite Christmas gift from my childhood was a Barbie dream house! It was the length of my double door closet and came with all kinds of furniture. My sister and I played with it for years and have countless good memories from it : ) We can't wait for it to one day be given to our children to play with!

  10. my favorite Christmas present I got was a papason chair when I was 16..I had been really sick in and out of ERs and lots of tests done..and all I wanted was a place to sit and read and take naps..so my mommy bought me one..and 8 years later it is still my favorite place to curl up.

  11. My favorite Christmas gift was when my uncle got me a charm braclet and we picked out all of the charms together, and he told me what each one meant. That was a very special Christmas gift πŸ™‚

  12. My favorite Christmas gift was getting the chance to go to a Lord of the Rings marathon in theater. It was fantastic and amazing considering I didn't get to go when they were originally in theater. =)

  13. I can't remember a lot of the gifts I've gotten over the years. But a recent one that meant a great deal was a laptop, from my parents. I live out of state from them, and I had been thinking about getting one someday soon myself, but couldn't really afford one. I had opened a box of towels (very unexcitedly I must admit) and not much else and thought it was going to be a simple year. Not so much! They made sure it was the last gift opened, and I had to actually get it out of the box because I truly couldn't believe that's what was in there. I don't know that I'll ever forget that moment. πŸ™‚

  14. I'm sitting here trying to think of my favorite gift…but I don't think I have one. Everything I've gotten has always been special to me for one reason or another.

  15. My favorite Christmas present would have to be the positive pregnancy test I received back in December 2010. How I love that little guy… hard to believe its been two years already!

  16. Favorite Christmas gift. Toss up between my horse Jack and the picture album from my cousin last year. I adore both.

  17. Actually, my favorite Christmas gift was probably just spending time with my family. That's the best present of all. πŸ™‚

  18. My favorite Christmas gift would probably have to be the random tiki man that one of my best friends gave to me years ago. He's very awkward but he has been in my room as a conversation piece since she got it for me!
    Happy Adventing…

  19. My digital camera that my parents gave me a few years ago. I'd told my mom that I would be happy with either of two models and when I opened it up, I was surprised to find the better, more expensive camera.

  20. Well i can't say that I have a favorite, because every year I get to be with my family and that is the best gift. We have our own lives and families and it seems only at Christmas does everyone make a point of being there. And this year means more because my mom has been real sick but she is still here and I know that God is taken care of her. I hope everyone has a blessed Christmas and enjoy every minute you can with your families.

  21. Last year my oldest brother got me bright yellow sweatpants with a matching bright yellow sweatshirt. I look like a giant banana…but it is so comfy and fabulous.

  22. Hmm, that's a difficult question. From my younger days, my Cabbage Patch Doll. LOL!! From my older days, my Kindle Touch last year received from my husband. Great gifts!

  23. For me, I think it was one Christmas when we were at our grandparents house, and they were giving us presents,so we didn't expect our parents to give us any. Then, suddenly, out of the blue they gave me and all my brothers small, leather, Bible's with our names written in gold ink on the front of them. They were the best Christmas gifts ever!!

  24. My father is an amazing craftsman, my favorite gifts would be the dresser he made for me when I was in the 6th grade. It is now in my daughter's nursery.

  25. My favorite Christmas gift was the laptop I received in fourth grade because it made all my school work so much easier.

  26. I got an American girl doll when I was a child. "Molly." I loved her books and always wished I had her glasses! πŸ˜€

  27. This year, I'm going to be able to spend Christmas Eve and day with my parents, but not the weekend before, which is when my brother and sister will be there with their respective spouses. Thinking through that has made me realize that the best Christmas gift is the time that I've had with my family over the years and the memories that we've made.
One of my favorite things is always the presents my mom forgot she bought, so we almost always get some more gifts until the New Year. πŸ™‚

  28. My favorite Christmas gift I have ever gotten would have to be my digital camera I got last year. I had been wanting my own camera for about a year already, so I was really excited to get it! πŸ˜€

  29. I don't think I can pick a favorite Christmas gift! I love everything I have gotten, My parents are wonderful at coming up with ideas!

  30. My favorite Christmas gift would have to be something that I've gotten the past couple of years from my mother or grandma and that's a book. They know my fascination with books and how I alwyas have to be reading one of some kind. I always look forward to getting a new book and adding it to my overflowing bookshelves.

  31. In the recent years one of my favorite presents was a pair of bunny house slippers. They are so soft and cozy. It was not a gift I would have asked for, but it ended up being one of the best gifts I have gotten!

    ~Emily W.

  32. My favorite Christmas gift was this little stuffed dog that had a leash that you could walk. I was probably above the age of the normal child who wanted that gift and got made fun of by all of my cousins, but I really loved puppies and wanted something as close to the real thing as I could get. I was probably 7 or 8 and I don't think my parents were going to get it, so my grandmother decided to surprise me with it and it made me so happy. Now that she's passed away, it makes me smile that she loved me even if I was still a baby at heart. πŸ™‚

  33. One of my favorite presents was when I was about 7 and i had always wanted a barbie video camera/recorder. I had asked for one for about 3 years and that Christmas i got one. I was soo happy! I used that camera so much, and now it hardly works. For about every day almost i taped whatever and i have a video of it. Thats one of my favorite christmas present!

  34. My favorite Christmas present was probably getting to see my grandparents, since they live in a different part of the state. That's probably my favorite Christmas present of all.

  35. My favourite Christmas present was cards from my three younger siblings after I got home from a school camp πŸ™‚ I almost was in tears when I read the sweet, loving comments written in them saying that they had missed me πŸ™‚ Even though the stickers on some of the cards were falling off, haha XD

  36. Best Christmas present came in the form of a proposal from my husband a few days after Chrismtas (we celebrated late since I had to work that year). Other than that my favorite Christmas gift was one given not recieved. My Mom had always wanted to make a x-stitch picutre that reminds her of my and my sisters but she never had time while we were growing up to make it, so I made it for her and had it framed in time for Christmas.

  37. My favorite Christmas present last year was a aromatherapy stuffed hippo. I would heat it up every night and sleep with a warm stuffed animal πŸ™‚
