Release Day!!!

YAY!!

I’m SO excited about Cool Beans releasing today!!! 🙂 SO FUN!

I’m celebrating with a glass of chocolate milk right now. 🙂

Today, I actually got almost everything that I had planned done! It’s becoming a very rare occasion, so I’m rather proud of myself. Granted, it wasn’t that much that I had planned, but its the little things in life. 🙂 I did the laundry, got some writing stuff…um, written, went to the bank and the post office and then watched Persuasion with my sister this afternoon. And because of that, I’m going to make pancakes and bacon for dinner.

I’m not sure what pancakes and bacon have to do with either Cool Beans’ release or Persuasion, but it just seems like the right meal to have tonight. Besides, I have blueberries to put on top, so I do believe I’m making the right culinary decision.

And this is just a side note, but am I the only one who has specific clothing items that only see the light of day on Laundry Day? Just curious…

Has anyone else seen Persuasion? The new one by the BBC? I thought it was a fairly decent adaption and for once, Captain Wentworth isn’t kind of…what’s the word…icky? I’m not sure what it is about Jane Austen adaptions, but there are a rare few that actually have nice-looking men in the lead roles.

I’m just saying.

For all of my friends out there with Kindles or iPhones, good news! Miss Match is being offered for FREE today through April 7th! So be sure to take advantage of this great offer! When I checked a couple of minutes ago, it was in the top three downloaded books for today! Yay!

I hope you all have had a tame April Fools Day! I say this because I’m not really too fond of April Fools Day pranks and that’s thanks to growing up with two brothers. 🙂 And I hope that you have a wonderful Easter weekend!

  1. When I saw that Mismatch was free today for Kindles and iPhones, I all of a sudden really wanted a Kindle! Then I could have Mismatch to read whenever I wanted!
It deserves to be #3 top downloaded book, it's amazing!

  2. iPhones?! I bet that means iTouches too! I'm going to go get in in a moment.
I don't know what it is about Persuasion, but I just can't get into it! I love all of Jane's other novels and the movies but not Persuasion.
As for the men, I agree. However, Matthew Macfayden does an amazing Darcy in way of looks and acting. Colin Firth was ok, I guess. I prefer Matthew.
I should be getting Cool Beans next Tuesday!

  3. LOVED LOVED LOVED LOVED Cool Beans!!!!!!

Of course, I read it way to fast. I should go backa nd enjoy it slowly now. 😉

  4. I finished Cool Beans already and loved it! However, I can't believe it ends there! All I know is July better get here quick so I can read Latte Daze!

  5. Man I wish I had known about getting Missmatch for free because I have a Kindle but I am glad I bought it because I really enjoyed it. Now i can read all three of the books when ever I want to.

  6. I saw the 1995 Persuasion not long ago and loved every aspect of it except two things: that weird circus scene happening while Anne and Captain Wentworth are professing their love for each other (I do not remember that happening in the novel) and Captain Wentworth was…old. So I must order the 2007 version straightaway.

  7. The new Captain Wentworth is… yes. Not ugly. 🙂 My friends and I were only slightly obsessive that PBS Masterpiece season… four months of Jane Austen? Are you KIDDING ME!! And just so you know, you must check out the 2007 Northanger Abbey. Once again a not at all creepy lead who, in the novel, made me laugh out loud as hard as Laurie Holbrook. 🙂 And can I tell you just how proud I am of you for the Kindle book thing?! My personal dream is having a free book on Kindle that shoots to the top 5 in 24 hours. So congratulations, Erynn! I bought it the moment I saw it!

  8. Agreed Erynn! about Persuasion Captain Wentworth was indeed good looking. With Colin Firth, I liked him as Darcy because at first you have prejudice against him like Elizabeth Bennet, but throughout the movie you gradually start to like him and then love him… Anyways I got your first book free with Kindle and absolutely loved it. Never have I laughed so hard in a book. I could relate so well with Lauren and her sense of humor which was so much like my own. haha…maybe it has to do with the fact my name is Lauran. After I read the first one I bought the second and third and just thought they were divine! After writing this comment I am going to buy the newest one!

  9. Does anyone have any idea when it's being released in Australia?? I can preorder from my local christian bookshop, but i don't know when it's being released 🙁

  10. I finished reading "Cool Beans" today and I'm ABSOLUTELY in love with it. Maddy (who won the copy of your book) and I think it is AWESOME. 😀
I could totally relate to Maya and thought the plot was wonderful.
Can you tell that I like the book? hee hee. 🙂

  11. This is soooooo sad! I got Miss Match for free then totally went out and bought Rematch and Match Point, and quickly googled you once I finished all three books in two days only to find out that Cool Beans was out. I rushed over to Amazon to get it for my kindle, but alas it wasn't there! Do you know when it will be available!?

  12. I got Cool Beans the day that it was released, but have been so busy that I didn't let myself pick it up until today. Just spent a lovely, rainy, cold afternoon curled up with your book — loved it! I enjoyed it as much as I did the Miss Match books, and that is saying a lot! Can't wait for Latte Daze…
