  1. Favorite Christmas memory: walking on ice-encrusted silent streets in -40F weather to get to my grandparents house and then sharing caramel roles and oranges for breakfast on Christmas morning.

  2. I remember visiting the Christmas light display at my Uncle's neighbor house as a little girl and getting a special tour of the inside displays because we were friends of the family. It was the largest display in the area and it was beautiful!

  3. I have so many, but each year my extended family would get together for Christmas brunch and we would have a "recital" – everyone had to perform something on an instrument, sing, recite a poem, etc. Creativity came out and we had the best time!

  4. Favorite Christmas memory: spending Christmas Eve with my dad's side of our family (they have seven kids! there were two of us!) at my grandma's tiny house. We would all squeeze in, exchange gifts, and eat oyster stew. I miss her and getting together every year.

  5. My favorite Christmas memory is every year when my Dad reads out of Luke 2, seeing exactly how long he will keep reading, before realizing that Baby Jesus is no longer a baby. One year we made it to the death, burial and Resurrection. not even kidding!

  6. Favorite memory: the years we would go to my Uncle's house in the mountains for Christmas Day. It was always perfectly Christmas up there and sometimes he's pull us on a sled behind the horses 🙂

  7. Every year at Christmas, my aunt would bring out several pages of Christmas songs. We would pick a few and sing them as a family. She passed away from breast cancer several years ago, and we still follow that tradition. Makes me feel like she's still here.

  8. Out of all of my Christmas' my grandparents have only missed 2. One of them was last year because my grandma was sick. She passed away last weekend and so right now all of the memories of her with us on Christmas morning are very special!

  9. My favorite Christmas memory was my first Christmas being married. There was just something so special about waking up next to my new husband and sneaking out of the bed to go make breakfast and surprise him with his gift.

  10. My favorite Christmas memory (so far!) is when my parents completely surprised me and my brother a few years ago with news that we'd be taking a trip to Europe in the summer. My whole family (aunts, uncles, etc.) knew about it, so our reactions made it pretty memorable for everyone. 🙂

  11. Favorite christmas memory: Waking up super early with my brother and sister and seeing our presents from santa, and playing with them, under the light of the christmas tree until my parents got up!

  12. When I was probably 4 or 5 and we went to pick out our tree. It was all snowy and beautiful and everyone was SO happy 🙂

  13. The one Christmas it actually snowed at my house. My cousins and I played in the snow and were dangerously breaking icicles from the roof. I was about 7

  14. My favorite Christmas memory is the first year we got my foster brother. He had never had a Christmas before so this was a whole new experience for him. He loved getting new shoes, and his favorite was his PJ's. I can still remember how shocked he was to be apart of our family at Christmas time!:) This year will be his third christmas with us, and his brothers second!!!!

  15. My favorite Christmas memory is the Christmas that we opened the front door to find my cousin standing there. We were so surprised–he was in the army and we all thought he was still overseas!! 🙂

  16. My favorite Christmas memory was a few years ago when it snowed on Christmas. The kids loved it and it made it even more special.

  17. My favorite Christmas memory was in general my childhood Christmases. Where we'd open the presents and play all day long and be together as a family. Those were probably the happiest days of my childhood. 🙂

  18. My favorite Christmas memory is all the Christmas's growing up. We would have family Christmas at our house in the morning with lots of family time and cinnamon rolls. Then we would all pack up and drive over to my grandparents for lunch and more family time. It was just some of the most perfect days.

  19. My favorite Christmas memory… it might just be the first time (that I remember) getting a Christmas tree. I was convinced she was a girl and that she had a name. 🙂

  20. One of my favorite Christmas memories was making a giant gingerbread castle with my sisters! It was really fun and turned out really cute! (if I do say so myself)
